Atelier is an upscale boutique hotel brand located in Asokoro, Abuja, offering a seamless blend of local culture and global sophistication. This thoughtful project reinterprets and renovates an existing colonial-style building, merging old-world charm with modern design through an ‘Afro-minimalist’ aesthetic. The rooms feature custom joinery and locally fabricated furniture elements, designed by Studio Contra.
A standout feature of the hotel is The Pavilion, a cafe and bar space adorned with a vibrant wall mural by Parisian artist Henri Abraham Univers. The Pavilion is nestled within the hotel’s grounds and opens up to an expansive tropical landscape garden, providing a unique atmosphere of tranquility and style.
